To celebrate getting back into the swing of things, 17 wooden disc medallions will be hidden sometime during the week of May 10th.
An example of what the medallions look like is above. **There are no clues to help you find these medallions, it is sheer luck on finder's part.

**SOME of the medallions are worth a cash prize and the finder can keep the medallion.

Saturday May 15, Syttende Mai Celebration Events

Bertha Johnson, has made many a batch rommegrot intended for sale each year for Westby’s annual Syttende Mai for as long as she can remember.

Helping her over those years has been her daughter, Jean Wedwick and friend Peter Leum.
This time-honored Norwegian favorite has but only 4 ingredients: cream, flour, milk and salt.

She has already finished many pails which are now hibernating in her freezer, waiting to be thawed heated, then served - Many of those pails are 1 gallon in size.

Most years she goes through 30 some gallon buckets. Some folks like to add one or more of the toppings which can be of melted butter, cinnamon and/or brown sugar.
She claims that she sells out most years and often gets requests for more after the Westby Syttende Mai weekend is over!
Join us as we present her with a special gift and the title “2021 Master of Ceremonies”.

James the Magician

James the Magician is a Comedic Magician. People laugh at him… Performing magic with a wild passion since he won his first talent show at the age of 7, his exceptional magical talent has been showcased at school programs, during weddings, at corporate events, on stages, on the street, and everywhere in between. There’s one thing that drives every single one of his performances – he knows joy is contagious. It’s passed from the performer to the audience, then from audience members to each other and, by the end of the show, everyone is laughing, amazed, and having fun. James the Magician performs an interactive comedy magic show. James’s magic has won several awards over the years for his humor and for his skill as a magician. James believes that joy is contagious, and the best part of performing is the reciprocal relationship between the audience and himself.
