Westby High School Gym.

Enjoy our local performing arts students and bid on your favorite collectible!


Syttende Mai Button and Raffle Tickets

Cash Prizes!!! Have a chance to win $500, $200, $100 or $75!

Only 1200 tickets will be sold at $5.00 each and you receive a Syttende Mai collector button.

Buttons with raffle tickets are located at area businesses, the information booths, and any board member.

Grandmother of the Year
Award announced at the Princess coronation March 11th for the best essay written by an elementary grade student about their grandmother.

The child along with their Grandmother of the Year will ride in the Saturday 10:00 AM Kiddie Parade and on Sunday 1:30 PM Big Parade.

Saturday, May 20th starting at 12:30 PM.
 Registration begins at 11:30 AM at the corner of Market and Highland Streets.
Button required for One Adult for a child to participate.

Rømmegrøt Eating Contest:
Saturday, May 20th at 2:00 PM located at the south-end of craft tents.
 Two age groups (10 & under, 11-18 and adults).
 Entry fee: 2016 Syttende Mai Button. Prizes following contest.

Friday, May 19th starting at 7:00 PM during the high school choral concert.

Antique Tractor Pull:

 located at the Industrial Park off Swiggum Rd.

Westby High School Choral Concert

Friday, May 18th starting at 7:00 PM located at the Westby High School Gym.
Join Music Director, Peter Engh, and the talented young people of the Westby High School Choral Group for an evening of musical entertainment for all.

Norski Music Stage

Saturday, May 20th enjoy live music from Noon– 10:00 PM located Nordic Lanes.
Stop by to “Toe Tap with Trolls” and dance/listen to local and regional bands and musicians. 

The Norsemen Beer & Wine Garden is located next to the Norski Music Tent and food vendors a stone’s throw from the drinks.

The party can be found on Market St

A Syttende Mai button purchase is required to enter the music tent and beer garden.



Westby High School Jazz Band

Sunday, May 20st starting at 12:30 PM located on the steps of the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
Enjoy timeless classics with our local Jazz Band and band director, Monte Dunnam before the parade.
